Benjamin Joseph Chmielewski

Born to James and Janet Chmielewski on April 7, 1980, Benjamin Joseph (Ben) Chmielewski passed away on November 25, 2021. After growing up and attending school in Taylor, Ben graduated from Michigan State University as a proud Spartan in 2003. On May 17, 2014, Ben married MaryBeth. The couple resided in Westland with their children Ian and Cara. Ben was a devoted and caring man to his wife, children, and family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, sports, playing trivia, and spending time with family. Those who knew and loved Ben, remember the fun and laughter shared together and will forever be grateful for his influence in their lives. Ben is survived by his wife, MaryBeth, his son, Ian and his daughter, Cara, as well as his parents, James and Janet Chmielewski and his two siblings: James (Jim) Chmielewski and Sarah Jasso. In addition, he is survived by his mother and father-in-law, Babette and Craig Riblett, sister-in-law, Caitlin (Ryan) Tierney, and brother-in-law, Connor Riblett. Ben was a kind and loving uncle, leaving behind four nieces: Lyndie and Mia Jasso, Lilly Riblett, and Penny Tierney. Benjamin will be honored and remembered on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at St. Constance Catholic Church in Taylor. A gathering will take place at 10:00 am, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.
