Belle Evelyn Vereb

Vereb, Belle Evelyn. Age 70, fought a courageous 6 month battle and passed away Sunday, May 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by parents Julia and Russell Krauser and her beloved brother Charles Krauser who referred to her by nick name "Prine". She is survived by her bother Alan Krauser and wife Lynda (Gibraltar, Michigan). She was a wonderful mother and was extremely proud of her four children and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children, Carole Kress and husband Robert Kress (Howell, Michigan), Russell Vereb and husband Jeffrey Hazel (Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania), Julie Senkowski and husband Jeff Senkowski (Wyandotte Michigan), Sarah Swisher and husband John Swisher (Dayton, Ohio). A grandmother to 6 - Robbie Kress, Alyssa Kress, Kyle Senkowski, Kayla Senkowski, Megan Swisher and Josh Swisher. Belle at heart was all about her family. She did enjoy traveling spending summers with the family in St. Helen, traveling to London and Paris to see her son, taking cruises with family (especially Celebrity Cruises), visiting Amish county in Pennsylvania to buy wrought iron knickknacks and visiting Maryland. She was an avid QVC shopper which made her very happy. She was even asked to speak "on air" but could not get the courage to chat with a host. She loved going to garage sales. Finding things for herself and her children. She loved to collect Longabergerbaskets, Luminara candles and Princess House. She very much enjoyed staying at home in her Grosse Ile apartment keeping up on what was happening with her kids and being surrounded by "her stuff".Belle was not a political person but you could sure bet in any election she would be voting 100% Democratic. She will be missed but forever in our hearts. Visitation will be on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 4pm-9pm at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183.
