Barbara Kathleen (Choate) Allan, 91, of Allen Park, Michigan entered her eternal home

with her heavenly father on February 12, 2023.

Barb was born on August 25, 1931. She graduated from Pontiac High School, Pontiac,

Michigan and continued on to graduate from Hurley School of Nursing (RN) and

Wheaton College (Bachelor’s Degree).

She was a devoted wife and mother. Barb was an avid reader consuming a multitude of

books during her lifetime. She explored the world through books, travel, music and art.

Barb enjoyed the outdoors, especially at Piatt Lake in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and

Tucson, Arizona. She served as a registered nurse in various medical facilities at

different points in her life. She was an active Woodhaven Bible Church member and

volunteer.

Barb is survived by her three sons and their wives David (Kimberlee), Paul (Marjorie),

and Mark (Cynthia), six grandchildren, and brother Stuart Choate (Mary).

Barb is preceded in death by her husband Jack and her parents Cecil and Alice Choate.
