Barbara Jean Marsh

Born in Detroit, Barbara was the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Brabenac) Baker. A high school graduate, she continued her education to earn her Associate Degree in Nursing. Barbara married the love of her life, James Marsh on September 6, 1968. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the Monroe County Health Department for over 20 years, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, baking, sewing, crocheting, fishing and quilting, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, James, her husband of the past 55 years; two granddaughters: Haleigh (Caleb) Wilkins and Kelcie Marsh; as well as a brother Russell (Marjorie) Baker. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents; a son James M. Marsh; and two siblings: Charles Baker and Beverly Glasburn.
