Barbara Jean Kennedy

Barbara Jean Kennedy ( nee: Wilder) was born on October 23, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan and died on May 2, 2022 at her home in Riverview at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Raymond “Bud” Kennedy. Loving mom of Ray “Bud” Kennedy, Colleen (Wally) Wojtala and Darrell (Elda) Kennedy. Proud Grandma, Nana and Beans of Sarah (Chris), Chad (Lane), Stacie, Lindsay (Wes), Cam (Hannah), Shelby (Dan), Blake, Sydney (Samer) and Spencer and GiGi of Kailey, Jadyn, Wade, Haley, Caleb, Luke and Sawyer. Dearest sister of Ray (the late Betty), Patricia (the late Ted) and the late Richard (the late Lori). Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends. Barbara Jean was retired from St. Alfred Catholic School in Taylor. A memorial service is being planned and the information will be added when confirmed. Memorial contributions to honor Barbara’s life may be made as the donor chooses. Everyone is invited to join the family for a reception immediately following the committal service at the cemetery.. The reception will take place at Crystal Gardens, 16703 Fort Street, Southgate, MI 48195 and will being at approximately 12 noon. If you plan to attend please RSVP below.
