Barbara Galofaro

Barabara Galofaro, of Trenton for 61 years, passed away October 5, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Del Galofaro for 63 beautiful years. Loving mother of Gale (Jim) Nagy, Gary Galofaro, the late Carol Galofaro, James Galofaro, and Lawrence Galofaro. Beloved grandmother of Anthony Galofaro, Jacqueline Galofaro, Shannon Galofaro, Samuel Galofaro, Stephanie Galofaro, and Kimberly (Brian) Pelletier. Proud great grandmother of Eli, Asher, Makenzie, Makayla, Michael, Emily, Evan and Ethan. Dear sister of the late James Drum. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Barbara was a mom to all, she was a former Girl Scout Leader, founding member of the Trenton Hockey Auxiliary, long-time member and volunteer at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trenton. She worked many of the elections and delivered meals on wheels. She was a decades long member and past president of the New Horizon Senior Club. Her and Del were extensive world travelers.

Services will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2565 3rd St, Trenton, MI 48183 on Friday, October 11, 2024, where Barbara will lie instate from 9:30 until the funeral mass begins at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Barbara to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or Michigan Kidney Foundation.
