Born in Wyandotte, Arthur was the son of Arthur and Leota (Helbig) Fritz Sr. A graduate of Lincoln Park High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Army overseas during the Vietnam War as a Tank Operator. Arthur received numerous medals and commendations including the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm and the Purple Heart, to name a few. He worked as a Supervisor for Penwalt Chemical Company for over 40 years. Arthur was a faithful member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lincoln Park where he had served as an Elder and Lay Minister. He enjoyed drawing, collecting model trains and riding his Harley Davidson motor cycle. Arthur leaves to cherish his memory his children: Lynda “Sissy” (Adam) Flores, Rebecca Fritz and Joshua Fritz; as well as his siblings: Dale (Cookie) Fritz, Jessie (Mike) Yurkovich and Kurt (Theresa) Fritz. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a son Erich Fritz and a sister Doreen Southall.
