Arthur “Dale” Straub - 90 yrs. of Maybee, MI - died surrounded by family at Hampton Manor in Dundee, MI, under the care of Compassionate Hospice. Friends may call at the Martenson Funeral Home, Maybee, MI Thursday July 18, 2024, from 2-8 PM, with Rosary Thursday evening. He will lie-in-state on Friday July 19, 2024, from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM at Divine Grace Parish Catholic Church, Maybee, MI. Father Peterman will officiate. The burial will be at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Maybee, MI.

Born September 5, 1933, in Monroe, MI – Dale was the son of Arthur and Grace Straub. He was a 1952 Monroe High School Graduate. He married Janice Cousino on September 15, 1956, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport, MI. Janice died November 20, 2017. Dale was an independent milk hauler and farmer for 32 years. Then Dale worked for Milan Public Schools for 10 years, retiring in 1994. Dale loved playing euchre, going to his family cabin, & organizing church festivals. Dale was a member of the Maybee Sportsman Club, Tri-County Sportsman Club, Moose Lodge and MUCC. He loved farming, 4-H, hunting, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include: his children: Thomas (Rita) Straub of Monroe, Daniel (Kimberlee) Straub of Maybee, Gary (Laurie) Straub of Lawton, Michele Straub-Jennings of Monroe, Timothy (Kelly) Straub of Erie, Alan (Correen) Straub of Brighton, grandchildren: Jason, Leslie, Derek, Tyler, Vance & Kaine; great grandchildren: Kaleb, Dayne, Everly, & Lainey. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Arnold Straub, and sister Annabelle Russ.
