Arlene E. Shanley

Shanley, Arlene E. Age 81, of Allen Park. April 22, 2017. Beloved wife of Donald for 60 years. Loving mother of Andrea (Ed) Seabloom and Lisa (David) Puckett. Loving and caring grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Preceded in death by her parents William and Elizabeth Varga. Arlene was involved with her church, Allen Park Presbyterian Church and the Allen Park American Legion Auxiliary Unit 409, where she held many chairmanships. She enjoyed many years of volunteer service at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, was an avid bowler and card player. Arlene enjoyed 30 years of summer vacations at her cottage in Carp Lake, MI. It was a pleasure for her to have company at the lake and loved when her family could visit. Memorial contributions may be made to Allen Park Presbyterian Church Camp Wakanda or to American Legion Junior Auxiliary - Department of Michigan.
