Anna L. Vanwassehnova

Born in Monroe, Anna was the daughter of Frank and Marie (Millstead) Meyers. She married the love of her life, LeRoy VanWassehnova, on April 11, 1942. Sadly he preceded her in death November 13, 1986. A dedicated homemaker, Anna was a faithful and active member of St. Mary, Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Rockwood. She was a member of the Berlin Senior Citizens and enjoyed playing cards at the VFW Post 4230 Rock of Gibraltar. Anna leaves to cherish her memory her children: Mary Jane Lemerand of Newport, Matheau (Janet) VanWassehnova of South Rockwood and Gary (Barb) VanWassehnova of Monroe; as well as 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Allen VanWassehnova; brother Ralph Leohner and two sisters Geraldine Timiney and Luella Meyers.
