Mastrodonato, Ann, age 92, died peacefully at her home in Trenton, Michigan on August 3rd, surrounded by her family. She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Groat who emigrated from the Austrian-Poland section of Europe and immigrated to the United States. She attended Wyandotte Roosevelt High School before marrying John M. Miltz in 1941 at the tender age of 18, until he succumbed in 1968. She was an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trenton, Michigan. Her interests included family, gardening, sewing and taking daily neighborhood walks. In the first half of her life, she provided much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her devoted mother until she passed away at age 64 in Wyandotte, Michigan. She is survived by her loving and attentive and husband of 44 years, Fred Mastrodonato, his son Anthony and daughter in law Linda, her children, Daniel Miltz (Brenda) of Methuen, MA, Elaine Vaughn of Wyandotte, MI, Richard Miltz (Jann) of Vernon CT; 4 grandchildren: Michael Vaughn, Shannon Vaughn Taraszkiewicz, Denise Vaughn Murdock and Brian Miltz; 4 great grandchildren; Julian, Zachary, Alley and Isabella. Anne is predeaceased by her 5 brothers Mike, Walter, Stanley, John and Leon. Mrs. Mastrodonato's life will be celebrated with visitation on Thursday, 12:00 PM until a small family service, 2:00 PM at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes.
