Ann Brummer

Ann Brummer of Allen Park, age 93, passed away July 31, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edward Brummer. Loving mother of Katherine (the late David) Guest and Paul Brummer. Proud grandmother of James and David. Cherished great grandmother and great great grandmother. Sister of Julie Peterson and Bob. She is preceded in death by her siblings Rosemary and Andy. Ann was very active in her church community at Wick Road Baptist Church where she founded The Widow Support Group of Wick Road Baptist Church. She formerly attended Gilead Baptist Church of Detroit. Visitation will be held at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes – Allen Park Chapel, on Sunday August 7, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday August 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Wick Road Baptist Church, where a luncheon will follow immediately at the church. The burial will take place at Michigan Memorial Park on Monday August 8, 2022 at 2:30pm. We will meet right inside of the gates near the front office of the cemetery and process back to the chapel as a group for prayers to be said. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Widows Support Group of Wick Road Baptist Church in memory of Ann.
