Anita Cabadas

Anita Joyce (Babij) Cabadas; age 78, December 8, 2024 of Dearborn. As a life-long nurse, Anita always gave to others without asking for anything in return. She loved the Red Wings, reading, jigsaw puzzles, quilting, crosswords, Blue Bloods, Star Trek, and most of all - shopping! Her greatest joy was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Jose Cabadas. Loving mother of Joseph (Mary), Carrie (Scott) Caillouette and Erin (Jon) Osgood. Dearest grandma of Anastasia (Kyle), Joseph, Gloria, Mary-Claire (Matthew), Jon-Luc, Noelle, Madeline, Paige and Cole. Dear sister of Jim (Marcia), Dan (Kathy), P.J.(Pat), John, and Dave (Brian). Also survived by other loving family members and friends. The funeral service for Anita is on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11 am at Allegria Village Chapel, 15101 Ford Rd., Dearborn, MI 48126; there will be a luncheon to follow. . Interment will be made by the family at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org/)
