He was the beloved son of Nina and Frank Liberati; brother of Nicolo and Antonio; and grandson of Richard and Florence Coleman and Tullio and Rose Liberati. He is survived by his parents, brothers, grandmother, cousins, many aunts and uncles, and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and many rescue animals that he loved. He was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend and loving lobster to Kate. He was always one to lend a shoulder to cry on or make you laugh when you needed it. He was never fully dressed without a smile and a hat. Though Angelo had many health struggles, that did not stop him from pursuing his passions. Angelo loved to play golf with his family and friends. He was an avid Michigan State fan. He loved to go to his family cottage up north and be near the water. He was devoted to Shelter to Home Animal Rescue in Wyandotte as a foster and volunteer. He gave his time and love caring for all the animals that needed him. Along with rescue animals, he loved and collected pandas. He loved to cook and be in the kitchen, not only at his family’s deli but also at home. It brought him so much joy to cook for the people he loved. Angelo was able to give one more selfless gift and donated his eyes, he always wanted to go whale watching again and see all 50 states. We are hopeful that through this gift, he may be able to do that. Angelo loved far and wide. He touched countless lives with the light that he radiated. His positive attitude, huge smile and goofy demeanor will be missed immeasurably. Please wear MSU garb such as shirts, jerseys and hats to honor Angelo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shelter to Home. To those attending visitation and/or services at the funeral home for a loved one, we adhere to CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines. There are limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel that will be enforced. Thank you for understanding.
