Angeline M. Roof

Born in Maybee, Angeline was the daughter of Earl and Angeline (Macholl) Liedel. A graduate of Milan High School, she married the love of her life, George Roof, on April 3, 1948. Sadly he preceded her in death November 15, 1986. A dedicated homemaker, Angeline had also worked as a Cook for Big Boy for 13 years and had worked at Wal-Mart for 15 years. She was a member of Divine Grace Parish-St. Joseph Church in Maybee; St. Anthony Catholic Church in Belleville and the September Days Senior Center in Belleville. Angeline leaves to cherish her memory her children: Steven (Pamela) Roof, Randolph (Janice) Roof, John (Pamela) Roof, Kathleen Roof, Susan (Louis) Woolery, Andrew Roof, Carol (Ken) Keber, Vernon (Tanya) Roof and Sharon Roof; 40 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren: as well as four siblings: Dorothy Wagner, George (Virginia) Liedel, Albert (Marty) Liedel and Stanley (Pat) Liedel. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four children: Rosemary Wright, Mary Roof, Edward Roof and Thomas Roof; four siblings: Thomas Liedel, Bruce Liedel, Alice McGrew and Earline Martin; as well as a granddaughter and two great grandsons.
