Andy Sassak

Andy was born on September 2, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan and died on July 23, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit at the age of 81; he was of Woodhaven. Beloved husband of 54 years to Mary. Loving dad of Stephen, Tim and Brian. Proud grandfather of Kevin and Kayla and great grandfather of Kyle and Kaylie. Also survived by two brothers Richard and Gary and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Irene (nee: Kovach). Andy proudly served his Country in the United States Army and Air Force. Andy could fix anything and loved to tinker; he could always be counted on to help anyone. Visitation is on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 3 pm to 8 pm with a service at 6 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton.
