Alma Victoria Walker

Click on the tribute wall above to view Alma's video tribute. Walker, Alma “Vicky”, age 97 of Dearborn. Loving wife of the late John Walker. Alma is proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Esther as well as her brothers Charles, Lloyd, Harry, and baby Gordon, her two sisters Olive and Ethel. She is survived by her nieces Anne, Rhoda, and Martha and many loving great nieces and nephews. Alma attended Grace Nursing School in Windsor, ON. After marrying John in 1948, they moved to the US where she worked for Henry Ford Hospital. She retired to help John with his work. In her 50's she took a refresher course in nursing and worked in the Allen Park area. Alma loved playing cards, crafts, setting up garage sales in benefit of her church, and enjoyed her many years of fishing and travelling with John. Visitation and Services in honor of Alma’s life will be held on Saturday October 19, 2019 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with a service at 12:00pm at the Allen Park Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
