Alice L. Brancheau

Alice L. Brancheau, age 55, of Newport, passed away peacefully Friday, May 25, 2018 at 6:30pm at Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit. Alice was born March 4, 1963 in Monroe, MI to James R. and Linda C. (Yoas) Brancheau. A graduate of Jefferson High School, Alice loved animals and was her father's right hand on the family farm. Alice is survived by her parents James and Linda Brancheau of Newport, brother Andrew (Jean) Brancheau of Newport, sisters Audrey and Ada Brancheau both of Newport, niece Abigail Brancheau of Newport and 2 nephews Austin and Addison Brancheau, both of Newport. Alice was preceded in death by her grandparents Curtis and Vivian Yoas, Randall and Eunice Brancheau and brother Joseph Brancheau. Friends may gather on Tuesday from 3-9pm at The Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E. Elm Ave. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport where Alice will lie in state from 10:30am until 11:30am Mass. Fr. David Burgard will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery, Newport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Building Fund in Alice's memory or to Karmanos Cancer Center, Detroit.
