Alexander Carl Nere

Alexander Carl Nere was born on November 11, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois and died on February 1, 2021 at his home in Riverview at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Beverly Taylor-Nere and the late Virginia Nere. Loving dad of Christine (Bob) Foss and the late Frank Nere and loving step-father of Constance (Raymond) Bonds, Mary (Michael) Van Hollebeke, James T., Jr. (Shana) Taylor and Jennifer (David) Parlette. Also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Flomena Piscionieri and his siblings. Alexander proudly served his Country in the United States Navy. He retired from the Chicago Police Department as a Detective; Alexander loved to play golf and was a member of Rotary International. A memorial service will be planned for a future date.
