Alberto "Tex" Vega. Age 85 of Taylor. Passed away May 5, 2022. Beloved husband of Lucille for 66 years. Loving father of Gary (Caroline) Vega, Karen (Bill) Bonanno, Nanci (Mike) Solace and Lisa (Mike) Shesterkin. Proud Papa of Jonathan (Megan), Albert, Paige (Jeff), Hillary (Mike), Nina, Christine, Billy, Sarah and Emma. Great Papa of Lyla, Poppy and Josie. Dear brother of John Rudolph (Dottie) Vega and Yolanda (Tom) Morris. Survived also by many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Antonio and Emma Vega and 2 brothers Antonio Jr. and Luis Vega. Alberto was a graduate of Western High School in Detroit. He served in the Army National Guard, was a member of The Iron Workers Local 25 and worked for Quality RE Steel, retiring in 1992.
