Tim Dillard

Timothy Edward Dillard, age 53 of Woodhaven, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on the morning of March 6, 2018. Tim was born on October 5, 1964 in Springfield, Ohio. He was the third born child of Edward Worley Dillard and Margie "Oneida" Dillard. Tim graduated from North High School 1983. He worked as a mechanic his entire life, starting as a teenager for Rich Wells and most recently as a prototype mechanic for Ford Motor Company. His dedication, attendance, and hard work were exemplary. Tim has been with his wife and love of his life DaNay (Willman) Dillard for over 36 wonderful years. Tim, referred to by his close family as Timbo, was known to help his family and friends in times of need. He was able to fix anything. If he wasn't sure how to fix something, he was always successful after a quick Youtube investigation. Tim loved cheering on his beloved Michigan State Spartans. You could always count on Tim to make you laugh either by making funny faces or saying something completely hilarious, usually "hillbilly". He was light hearted and easy going about everything, except someone adjusting the thermostat. Tim is survived by his wife Danay; mother Oneida Dillard (née Lyon), brother Gary (Sherri) Lyon, sister Kim (Roger) Lewis, sister Edwina (Rick) Mendenhall, sister Roxanne (Mike) South; daughters Summer (Kyle Pinkney) Dillard, Sunshine (Michael) Anderson (née Blain); grandson Caleb Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Edward Worley Dillard.
