Roland Eugene Wahl was born on June 8, 1944 in Minot, North Dakota and went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2022 at the age 78; he was of Lincoln Park and formerly of Detroit. Beloved husband of 56 years to Linda (Hodge) Wahl. Cherished dad of Stephanie Wahl and Tiffany Wahl. Proud papa of Brianna, Aundra, Cedric, Jasmine, Destiny, Damian, Geneva and Gavin and to Jayden and Zoe. Dearest brother of the late Gerald Wahl, Annette Dewitt, Leon Wahl, Bruce (Melonia) Wahl and Byron (Connie) Wahl. Dearest brother-in-law of Judy Wahl, the late Larry Morse and to his wife Brenda Morse. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Laverne (Brostrom) Wahl. Roland was a dedicated life-long member of the Church of God who served in many capacities and was a graduate of Northwest Bible College. He loved to sing, crocheting, sewing, making floral arrangements and various other crafts. Visitation will be at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd (Corner of Goddard); on Thursday December 22, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:0p pm. A funeral service will start at 12:00 pm.  Entombment will be at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
