Robert E. Boudrie

Robert E. Boudrie, age 89 of Monroe, passed away March 15, 2023.

Born March 8, 1934 in Monroe, Robert was the son of Lloyd and Matilda (Couture) Boudrie. A 1951 graduate of Monroe High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Army. Robert married the love of his life, Barbara Nadeau, on June 25, 1960.

Robert worked for over 45 years for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1996. He then served as Blight Inspector for Frenchtown Charter Township for another 10 years. Robert was a faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church and its Men’s Club as well as the Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed gardening and sold vegetables from his vegetable stand in front of his house, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, Barbara, his wife of the past 62 years; children: Lori (Spencer) Reeves and Lisa (Paul) Cooley; grandchildren: Nikkole (Dylan Carter) Venier, Jacob (Hillary) Venier, Samantha (Craig Krom) Venier, Krysta Reeves, Tyler (Danielle) Reeves, Sara (Matthew) Lewandowski, Stephen (Kellie) McAuliffe, Holli (Donnie) Mathes, Shawn Cooley and Jonathan Cooley; 22 great grandchildren: Polivas, Kylie, Aidyn, Addie, William, Willow, Quinn, Barrett, Evan, Violet, Mikaela, Izabela, Gage, Gianna, Ryan, Avery, Parker, Hailey, Cillian, Christian, Callum and Jaxon; as well as 2 great great grandchildren: Sophie and Reign; and a brother Charles Boudrie. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents, two children: Robert L. Boudrie and Maryann Boudrie; 4 sisters and 8 brothers.
