Patricia Kay Gunderson

Patricia Kay Gunderson, age 72 of Rockwood, passed away January 2, 2022 at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton. Born June 26, 1949 in Grayling, Patricia was the daughter of Anthony and Genevieve (Lafler) Diekman. She married the love of her life, Frank Kowaleski on September 23, 1977. Sadly he preceded her in death September 29, 1990. Patricia worked for Michigan Bell from 1968 until 1997. She then worked for Dialogue Marketing from 2000 until her retirement in 2013. Patricia enjoyed bingo, playing games, going to the movies and cooking, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her children: Anthony Kowaleski, Victoria (William) Kowaleski-Lance, Genna (William Payne) Kowaleski and Patrick (Stephanie Schulte) Kowaleski; 4 grandchildren: Abbey, Lola, Jackson and Ashley; 2 siblings: Robert Burt and Judy (Stephen) Blaszczak as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a step-father Charles Burt and 5 siblings: Michael Diekman, Ronald Burt, Charles Burt, Donald Burt and Carolyn Halsey.
