Mr. John 'Jack' Edward Doute

Doute, John "Jack" Edward, age 78 of Taylor, born in Bay City, passed away peacefully February 25, 2015. Loving husband of Louise. Dear father of John Jr. (Sue Grybel), Jerry (Carolyn Merlino), Judee Doute, Jacquelyn Doute Ferrick, and Joanna Doute. Proud grandfather of Casey, Kristen, Ryan, Chelsea, Jessica, John Paul, Joel, Talia, Dante, and great grandfather of Savannah, Logan, and Grace. Jack is also survived by his identical twin brother Ray (Nancy). He was preceded in death by brother Richard "Dick" (Anita). After serving his country as a sergeant in the United States Army, Jack worked for Scott Paper Co. for 17 years, while later opening the D&L Garden Center in Taylor in 1968. In his spare time he was an avid golfer and volunteer at Taylor Conservatory and Botanical Garden. He was also a devoted member of Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Church.
