Michael Victor Durell

Born in Monroe, Michael was the son of Victor and Mary (German) Durell. A graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School, he married the love of his life, Mary Ryland, on November 9, 1970. Michael worked for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and he enjoyed tinkering in his garage.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, Mary, his wife of the past 52 years; children: Dennis (Kelli) Durell, Kari Durell, Laura Durell and Mike (Jennifer) Durell; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Sheryl Durell and a brother Jon Durell.
