Mark Andrew Stewart, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2024.
He was born April 5, 1983 to Randy and Cindy Stewart.
Mark was a resident of Trenton, MI from the age of 6 until his passing.
Growing up Mark enjoyed Lincoln Logs, Legos, Big Wheels and Spiderman. He played hockey in his youth and really enjoyed skateboarding all around town. His late friend, Jordan Vaughn, was with him most of the time.
Mark taught himself to play the guitar in his Junior High School years. He would later go on to take professional guitar lessons and went on to become a very accomplished musician. Mark could play the Flight of the Bumblebee (Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov) very well and even posted a video of himself playing it. He played in a band with his friends, as well, and they performed locally.
Mark was very gifted. He loved such things as building watches and repairing and rebuilding vintage Pioneer stereos as just a few of the things that he enjoyed working on. He also enjoyed having tropical fish and even most recently owned a little turtle that he built a special environment for.
One of his most recent interests was motorcycles, recently purchasing several of them. He loved to ride and said that it brought him great peace and a feeling of freedom.
His craft as a machinist was primarily focused on both designing prototype parts, as well as making them. He made parts for both the aerospace and automotive industries.
Of all the loves in his life, he said that Jesus Christ was number one. He loved to share the good news with others. He had a genuine love for others.
Mark was a tender-hearted, sensitive, loving, caring, generous and self-sacrificing person. He often put the needs of others above his own. He was a cherished and very, very loved son and brother. He will be greatly missed.
Mark was predeceased by his father Randy, Paternal Grandfather Donald and Grandmother Shirley Stewart, and Maternal Grandfather Robert and Grandmother Carol Thompson.
Surviving family members include his mother Cindy, step-father Bruce, brothers Adam and JJ, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins of which Uncle Russ, Aunt Colleen and cousin Kayla Holden had special significance in his life.
