Marilyn J. Duchene Merrill

Merrill DuChene, Marilyn J was born on October 4, 1930 in Wyandotte, MI and died on January 13, 2017 at Rivergate Terrace at the age of 86; she was of Trenton. Beloved wife of 61 years to Robert. Loving mom of Edward (Beth), Kevin, Gerard (Peggy) and Kenneth (Amy). Cherished grandma of Steven (Aimme), Brandon, Patrick, Mackenzie, Jessica, Timothy, Alexander and Bethany. Dearest sister of Kathy (Ronald) Baum. Preceded in death by her parents Leo and Lorna (nee: Valiquette) DuChene; one sister Rita Higgins and two brothers Connor and Terrance DuChene. Visitation is Tuesday from 3 – 8 pm at The Ridge Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 2272 West Jefferson, Trenton. Marilyn will lie in state on Wednesday at 9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am. The committal service will be on Wednesday at 2 pm at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
