Joseph Glidden

Joseph Glidden, of Riverview, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Glidden. Dear father of Carole (Gregory) Boye, Bruce (Dianne) Glidden, David Glidden and Gail (Charles) Martin. Proud grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 19. He is preceded in death by his wife, and his parents Joseph and Bertha Glidden.

Joseph was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed small game hunting, fishing. He enjoyed trapping from a child into her adulthood. He volunteered at Lake Erie Metropark Golf Course. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a dad before anything else and always put his family first. He will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Rd, 48183. The service will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery for interment. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Detroit River International Wildlife Fund.
