Frank Timothy Marek

Frank Timothy Marek, 92, born Easter Sunday April 5, 1931, was taken to Heaven in God's loving arms on March 21, 2024 surrounded by his cherished family. The son of Frank and Bernice Maciejewski and Francis Hill, Frank graduated from Tech High School and St. Cloud State College in St. Cloud, MN and Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 0337 of Flat Rock, MI. For 30 years, Frank taught math in both Walled Lake and Lincoln Park Public Schools. He loved to travel, play golf, bowl, camp, read, garden, and spend time with family.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Nova Jean Johnson Marek; his children Tim Marek (Gary Remick), Debbie (Dave) Parker, and Dan (Cathy) Marek; dearest grandpa of Andrew and Christopher Parker and Miranda and Natalie Marek; sister Rose Hill Steckling (Dave). He was preceded in death by his late wife Patricia Ann Labadie Marek, sisters Jean Hill Carter, Mary Hill Smellie, and Collette Goering. Left behind are also many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
