Drexel G. Ray

Born in Octavia, Kentucky, Drexel was the son of Robert and Minerva (Maynard) Ray.

After graduation from high school Drexel faithfully served our country in the United States Army and was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran.  He worked as a Millwright with Ford Motor Company for over 20 years and then with Rouge Steel for another 10 years before his retirement.  Drexel married the love of his life, Eileen Alfano, on February 1, 1984.

Drexel leaves to cherish his memory, Eileen, his wife of the past 39 years; children: Eric Ray, James Laginess, Joseph (Amie) Laginess and Yvonne Kuchtyn; 6 grandchildren: Jeffrey Ray, Julianne McNeice, Chelsea Spix, Brooklyn Kuchtyn, Gray Laginess and Cecelia Laginess; a great grandchild Annalie McNeice; as well as 2 siblings: Robert Ray Jr. and Barbara (Douglas) Burke.
