Dennis Kent Evans

Dennis Kent Evans of Inverness, Florida, formerly of Melvindale, Michigan passed away in his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 30 years to Mary Ann Evans. Precious son of Shirley Evans and the late Dave Evans. Loving father of Kelly, Sean (Denise), Shane (Tracy), Jacki (Shane), Jason (Danielle), and Jeremy. Cherished grandfather of Freddy, Cody, Courtney, Mason, Madison, Jacob, Haley, Tyler, Aubrey, Sydney, Aiden, Samara, Jay, Fawzi, Daniel, and Damien. Loving great-grandfather of 6. Devoted brother of Scott, Marty, and Jay. Dog-dad of Riley and friend of many. Dennis was a dedicated iron worker with the local 25 for Sav’s welding. He will be deeply missed by many loving and friends.

Visitation for Dennis will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park location of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The funeral will be held that same evening at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
