Debbie Hinson

Debra Anne Hinson (Barber) of Taylor, Michigan was born March 13, 1959. She lost her second battle with cancer, with her family by her side, February 22, 2019. In the afterlife, Debbie is reunited with her parents, Aaron Burrell Barber (1927-1993) and Lila Anne Kerrigan (Hedrick) (1933-2004). Her daughter, Heather Hansen, and son, Michael Hinson, mourn her death fiercely along with her granddaughters, Deborah, Anna, Margaret, and Erin, her grandson, Aaron, Michael’s fiancé Misty and her children, Christopher and Kasandra. Debbie also leaves behind her love of 24 years, Scott Calhoun. She will be forever missed by her sisters, Dianna (David) Sherrell and Dawn Barber, her niece, Tanya Ridley, the Hinson/Ryan family, the Willis Family and countless friends who were her family. She lived life to the fullest, caring for other people and loving animals every step of the way. If you needed shelter or support, she was there. We will honor her with a celebration, details on time and place will follow.
