Mary H. De Biasi, age 88, of Allen Park, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on July 26, 2021. Born Mary Helen Mariani on August 8, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the first of two children of Salvatore and Angela Mariani. In 1954, Mary married the love of her life, James H. De Biasi and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years. Mary is survived by her children: Patricia (Ed) De Biasi, Angel (the late Richard) Beers, Charles (Laura) De Biasi, Cindy (Kevin) McClafferty, and James De Biasi; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mary graduated in 1950 from Fordson High School in Dearborn, MI. She then worked as a secretary at Ford Motor Company where she met her husband. Mary spent her time traveling with her family throughout the U.S. and Mexico, hosting family holiday dinners and backyard pool gatherings and socializing with her dear neighbors fondly know as her “garage friends”. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 7/27/2021, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). Visitation continues on Day from 10:30 AM until the mass of resurrection at 11:00 AM at St. Kateri Catholic Church (16101 Rotunda Dr, Dearborn, MI 48120). Following mass, the final commendation and committal will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery (18303 Allen Rd, Brownstown, MI 48193).
