Cathy Hodyka

Cathy Hodyka was originally from Windsor, Ontario but spent most of her adult life here in Michigan with her family. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and quilting. Cathy was also an avid volunteer, starting a local chapter of Project Linus. By doing this, she took her love for crafts and for helping others to make and donate blankets to children going through hard times. Above anything else, Cathy loved her family and spending time with her family. Cathy is survived by her children: Debbie (John) Vogel, Wanda (Calvin) Elder, Betsy (Rick) Moore, and JoAnn (Ron) Hughes. She was a loving grandmother to Kevin, Coralee, Dayna, Mandy, Christy, and Chad. Furthermore, a cherished great-grandmother of 13. She is also survived by her brother, James (Phyllis) Massey, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benny Hodyka; her parents Wilfred and Nellie Massey; her sister Jolly (Alice Elizabeth) Massey, and brother Robert Massey.
